The Reolink 4K 8CH NVR is a powerful network video recorder that can integrate various features from Reolink PoE cameras, allowing users to build an intelligent and cutting-edge security system.

This PoE NVR can be used with or without an internet connection. When connected to the internet, it enables remote viewing and motion push notifications. However, it can also function as a standalone system for local recording and live viewing without an internet connection.

The Reolink NVR is designed to work exclusively with Reolink PoE cameras, ensuring perfect compatibility and integration of features. Users can combine the desired features, such as human/vehicle detection, PTZ, auto-tracking, two-way talk, and motion-triggered spotlights, to build a customized security system.

The NVR uses a single Ethernet cable (up to 330ft via CAT6/7) to transmit both data and power for the Reolink PoE cameras, providing a reliable and stable connection. It supports various video output resolutions, including 4K, 1080P, and lower options, and can record in H.265 or H.264 video formats.
